This is a great board for someone just starting out, who's intimidated by the price tags on higher end boards because you don't know if you're going to keep skating and just want to try it out.That said, if you do end up loving skating, start swapping things out on this board as soon as you can. The bearings are so-so and don't have removable caps for cleaning + oiling, so after awhile that'll slow you way down and make the ride gross. The trucks seem sturdy and the wheels themselves are alright. I don't remember if this came with my skate tool or not, so make sure to grab one so you can fiddle with your truck tightness as needed. They were super loose when mine came in and that can make learning harder, as it's harder to balance.So yeah decent starting point but def look into upgrading pieces asap.
