This is the best of the pepperoni batter. I've tried a few others - some didn't work at all, some worked for a while, but this one always works. If you were to compare it to the others in color you would see the difference: this one is much darker which may not mean anything but after using the others it becomes obvious that this is the case as there is no better word . , Pepper! When I used the others I found them good, after about a month the squirrels seemed to get used to the pepper taste and started eating them before the birds could approach. But I waited until I was through twelve of those fat pies and the squirrels stayed away. That's the strongest recommendation I can give. And now that New York's winter has finally gotten harsh, I'm glad my native sparrows are chewing on it.
