Nice customer service and a quality micro nozzle

This micro slicer can do its main job, extracting the peel from citrus fruits and grinding food. It has a sturdy aluminum blade that's just under a foot long, and the razors are sharp and efficient. The rigidity and shape of the aluminum is the idea to prevent the blade from deforming under any pressure you can put on it. and it's fairly easy to pull out any material that may have gotten under the razors. It works like an amulet for each raisin, although rubbing some garlic on this thing is best. You can very quickly make a bulb of garlic and get a wonderfully aromatic mass of pulp. If you're looking for finely chopped garlic or the pulp, a micro plan is great. Ginger grates well too, although ginger is always difficult to grate because it's so fibrous. And it works really well with hard cheeses. You can get long chunks of parmesan by pressing down firmly on the skin, and a gentler touch will yield a thinner, snowier cheese if that's what you want. Your fingers won't get stuck in this thing that easily either, which is great. I can grind a clove of garlic to the end and not worry about my fingers getting sausage-like. I would still be careful. I've been using it for a few months now and the razors haven't shown any signs of dulling yet. Customer service is probably pretty good, I didn't have to contact them about anything. But it is particularly nice that we give you some tips on how to use the Deiss PRO cheese grater and grater. First, they suggest oiling it up a bit before use to make the stuff go through razors easier. That's a really good idea and makes cleaning a lot easier. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Pros
  • IMPROVE YOUR COOKING: Surprise your friends with new restaurant recipes. Add new strong flavors with fresh ingredients without the bitter aftertaste of the core. If you use a grater with hard cheeses like Parmesan, you'll end up with a nice pile of shredded cheese that melts into hot pasta almost instantly.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
