A year ago I had a swimming pool gate safety device installed to protect my child. I've been filming it for over a dozen years and it's in a barn. I decided to use a dog walking gate section on the side of my house and had to drill two additional 1.25" x 4" holes to install the gate in my concrete patio. I continued drilling holes, letting water through as I drilled. I used an angle grinder as recommended by the seller. After 20 minutes I drilled the holes. There was no solid core for each hole, instead they came out in 1 inch pieces. They were light enough to pull "bits" out of the well and core. After two holes it's pretty obvious I can't expect to use this again. The welded diamond teeth are badly worn. My expectation was to make about ten holes out of it, but after two it's pretty worn out. If you need it for a quick job it will work, just don't buy it hoping for a family heirloom. I've added some photos to help you with your purchase decision.
