Wow what a mount. I rely solely on reviews (and almost never write them. I know that's bullshit) on the things I buy. But this is a 100% quality mount. The base of the "suction cup" is a super sticky pad + you provide/"activate" the suction with a really tight little hidden lever. I drive for a living and I have no doubt that it won't drop my phone. Base! **UPDATE** It's been a few weeks and the mount hasn't dropped my phone in my truck while hauling up to 10,000 pounds (bumpy rides). The charging component worked for the first week and then stopped charging my phone altogether. No problem, that was a bonus for me + I use Apple's high speed charger anyway. The mount alone (reliability and no disappointments) is 100% worth its price! Would definitely buy again.
