Since we have a 55 inch 4G TV I thought it would be a good idea to invest $40 in a new Roku HDMI PREMIUM player. It works really well and I can hardly tell a difference. in the picture. This is about our fourth Roku device. My only criticism of this product is the cables (HDMI and power cords are too short. Instructions state to use the cables that came with the product. Since my HDMI input is on the same side of the TV and my power supply (yes, we have splinters ) but the only option left was to mount the ROKU itself from the bottom center of the TV We have a soundbar in front of the TV but that doesn't seem to interfere with using the remote I would suggest mounting this ROKU on something as it's very small and very light, it's about two of my long thin fingers wide and no more. I don't know that I like the remote particularly much, like my old one, it's lighter and has fewer buttons (okay the button is in the middle of the cross arrows) No, the old one is not compatible with the new ROKU device, but I pasted the tape from the old tape onto the new one for better tracking No probl eme loading my channels, having stopped mumbling about cheap boxes, tight cords and put everything in its place. I'm a 74-year-old woman, so if I can do it, so can you. Total installation time is approximately 30 minutes.
