Review on Premium Sanus Systems LL11-B1 Ultra-Thin Flat Panel Mount for 51 x 80-Inch TVs by Frank Harwood

Great mount, one caveat

I bought this mount to hang a 55 inch Samsung U55D8000 3D TV. very straight forward but first you need to spend some time reading and studying all the instructions. Why? Because the actual installation instructions are pictures with little to no written step-by-step instructions. Steps and figuring out what needs to happen and when, then the process is very simple and straight forward. One word of warning though, Sanus does offer you a small hardware store with screws, spacers etc of various sizes. The problem for me was this. that only two sets matched the thread and diameter for my tv but none of them matched the length! were too long and couldn't be fully screwed in as they reached the receiving holes on the TV before tightening! So after making sure I had the time and everything I needed to hang the TV up, I had to stop and go to the hardware store with both sets of "wrong" screws and find some between short and long. They are available in metric and stainless steel. Luckily I found what I needed, but at this point I was very upset that Sanus did not provide me with the correct screw size for my TV, even though I went to Sanus.com first and they determined online what bracket I need. is required due to my specific model and TV brand. Overall, despite this annoying experience, I'm glad I bought this mount. It went up relatively easily, it's very thin and my TV looks like a big thin painting hanging on the wall and it's very strong and durable. The pull-out feature for cable access works great, but I recommend that you attach most if not all of the cables to the TV before hanging it. It is much easier. You won't be disappointed at all with this mount, just give it a day, take your time and be ready to run to the hardware store. Otherwise you will not regret the result.
