UPDATE: I bought this in 2016 and it's 2021 now. I still have 90% of it! It takes a long time. It still cleans my brushes great! I put just under half a scoop into an old marinade jar and add the scrubbing brushes while I wash my hair. When I'm done using the shampoo, the brushes can be taken out and washed. Now notice, this stuff is strong. This will remove the formulation and color from your brushes, don't make the mistake of leaving them in the solution for more than a few minutes. It takes me about 20-30 minutes to wash my hair and it's too long to leave the combs, but hey, I'm lazy. [And my brushes are high quality Denmen brushes]. He does as he says and removes the growths from his hands. I dip my brushes about once a week.
