I'm used to multimeters with a 9 volt battery and sometimes 3 AA or AAA batteries. It has a small 12V battery that is about half the length and diameter of an AAA battery. So if the battery dies (which they do) I can't just grab another battery (I always have 9V, AA and AAA). Now I have to have another battery with me and who knows how much it will cost to replace it - probably half the cost of the multimeter itself. This meter is being sent back I get another one that uses a standard battery.
