Review on KOOLKANI® Remote Training Obedience Trainer by Courtney Hatcher

Revainrating 4 out of 5

So far it's working great!

Works well so far. I have an older 900 yard collar from another company with only vibration and shock but the battery is no longer charging. So instead of paying $20 more for a replacement collar than for this transmitter and collar. I thought I'd try. To be honest, out of 10 billion options, I only picked the one that differs from most and is made in Australia. Why. I think all the others seemed similar claiming different distance and waterproof to water, most of them have about 10% bad ratings, battery issues, most are made in China. bla bla bla. overload! So I gave the Kulkani a try, it charged as expected while performing well. I took my dog to the forest with a rather thick brush even in winter and did not expect it to work in such conditions, and today it came out of the bushes at a signal, although it is not far, probably 40-50 meters , and I don't see him in the bushes. It only took a vibration to remind him to listen! The collar seems nice, plastic and waterproof, ? But longevity. The receiver and transmitter are well designed and easy to use. The only downside for me was that I didn't have a tone selection before, I was hoping for a louder tone more for me than him so I could track it without sending a vibration or shock. Someone on Amazon Q&A said you can hear it about 100 feet away in a quiet environment. I couldn't hear him at 10ft, he must have very good hearing but a dog can and I think that's the intention. Regarding batteries and durability I will update in the future but for now it works fine and I'm satisfied. I would give it a five but haven't fully tested it for long range and durability yet, will update in the future.
