This is my second Nike watch and I think they have discontinued it. The first watch, just like this one, traveled about 700 miles. The fastening part of the strap came off first, so I fastened it with a rubber band, no problem, this is a running watch, not a fashion watch. Then the whole strap started tearing, causing the small wires connecting to the USB to separate, rendering the watch unusable until it died. But that's why I bought a new one now, it fixes the signal in about 10-15 seconds no matter where I last used it. The online jogging software is connected to Google Maps, which shows terrain and elevation gain as well as the route color coded (from red to green). You can mouse over your route and your pace and distance will be displayed with a corresponding graph below showing your altitude. The watch saves up to 50 runs, and your online account saves all your runs and even gives you goals to focus on. Battery life is about two weeks without a run and I was able to run up to 16 miles without dying. My display is set to track total distance and average pace, which is easy to see. I haven't run a marathon, but I have friends who didn't have a problem with this watch dying out. Pros: all features and ease of use. Cons: Bracelets fail over time (only after a lot of abuse).
