I thought it was too good to be true that there was a glass teapot that didn't explode when used. I was right; this thing is downright dangerous. Aside from not putting as much stress on the screen, the glass used for the reeds only uses one layer, making it very hot to the touch. Mind you, the water was only about 185°F. The double glass works somewhat, but you'll definitely feel uncomfortable holding it as it gets pretty hot anyway. I may have gotten a broken glass, but the inner glass layer has cracked around the infuser, so when I try to brew tea it seeps a little into the middle layer. I'm afraid if I keep using it it will break completely and hurt me, so I plan to throw it away soon. It's a cute size, great concept! The travel bag is so cute and I wish this item wasn't a hot water bomb 🥲 Be careful with this mug if you decide to buy it. Be smart and NEVER try to put it in the fridge or freezer.
