I loved this thing. I used it for a good 3 months until one day while brewing tea on my table (the water was brought to temperature from a Bodum kettle) the inner and outer glass completely exploded with a loud bang! on my desk, me and my cat. It's hard to tell from the photo, but the inner glass broke off in a perfectly clean line, which then apparently put pressure on the outer glass and broke it as well. Cup. Great concept all over, but the glass used to make this product needs an update.

I love how small, cute and handy this teapot is. The soft case makes it easy to carry without burning yourself on hot tea or worrying about the glass breaking. The only real concern I have about this, which may be an issue for some customers, is that fine particles from your tea leaves can seep through the filter. I thought it was too good to be true that there was a glass teapot that didn't explode when used. I was right; this thing is downright dangerous. Aside from not putting as much stress on the screen, the glass used for the reeds only uses one layer, making it very hot to the touch. Mind you, the water was only about 185°F.
