Review on 💧 GE Smart Home Water Filter System: Premium Filtration, WiFi Enabled, Replace Filters Every 3 Months by Mufti Carter

Appearance: Beautiful water filter device with extra long, transparent filter tube. The lights above will flash when there are problems and they can tell you when to replace the filter. Assembly and installation: very easy. The hardest part is adapting it to your installation. One important note: be sure to follow the "flow" instructions for water flow (this is written on the device itself). If you have it backwards nothing will work properly. Not that I would, but the filter part doesn't work properly, bypass and shutdown work fine, giving the impression that the unit is broken, but it isn't. Again, I'm assuming all of this because I'll be sure to follow the flow direction arrows clearly marked on the left and right sides of the intake and exhaust pipes. Unit. Note. You need different connectors if you have a different installation, e.g. B. 1 inch hoses. Also note that the internal dimensions of the unit's inlet and outlet tubes are different from regular 1" SharkBite fittings, so you will need variable length fittings (no plastic inner fitting). A few runs to my Lowes helped me realize I needed to plan better. And take a picture for reference on Lowes. Thoughts: The app is actually very good. I have to commend GE for the good integration, not just "putting things together" to bring this product to market. Important note: You can change the water flow remotely! From filtered to bypass to off. It's a really cool feature and I just wish it had some tracking of leaks and specific use like shower, dishwasher, sink etc. But for the price I can't expect that level of detail (yet). Conclusion: It's a really good device, easy to install and set up via the app. Important note: No filter is included! Please order one when you order this device. It specifically says no filter is included, but I missed that and had to wait a day for Revain to mail my filter to me (really, Prime is great!?!).
