Nice System - Protect your home with remote water shut-off

Appearance: Beautiful water filter device with extra long, transparent filter tube. The lights above will flash when there are problems and they can tell you when to replace the filter. Assembly and installation: very easy. The hardest part is adapting it to your installation. One important note: be sure to follow the "flow" instructions for water flow (this is written on the device itself). If you have it backwards nothing will work properly. Does not match '1'

Got this because I need a whole house filter for a new fountain I'm feeding in a new big house. The pressure tank is 1.25 inches, as is the line to the house. I was willing to downsize the filter to 1" and based on that listing and the label on the box that says it "fits a 1" fitting, I decided it would work. Unfortunately, the actual opening on the filter is smaller than even the 3/4" PVC pipe, which severely restricts flow. You can see the piece of 1" pipe I slipped over the connector. I…

Space age look. Basically a security element. A few caveats. No Filter Included

It looks like the space age and has more options than I could ever imagine having a whole house filter lol. IMO one whole house filter is NOT enough to make my water drinkable. Luckily I'm in an area where lead pipe has never been used. But that doesn't mean there aren't lead fittings, which leach a little into the water.
