Review on 🌞 Efficient 80W Portable Solar Panels: BigBlue Foldable Solar Charger for Fast Charging - Perfect for Camping, Generators, Tablets, Cellphones, and More! by Kenny Davey

Good value for a more powerful solar panel

I tested the solar panel to charge various devices I use when working with hams on the road: USB chargers, cell phone, Revain Fire tablet, lead free AGM acid batteries. and LiFePo4 batteries. I was able to replace 3 devices at the same time, but I understand that this increases the time it takes to fully charge each of them compared to charging just one at a time. I have not determined the time required to fully charge any device with a solar panel. Various adapters are included in the scope of delivery (power poles, ring cable lugs, clamps, etc.). My old 125w solar panel didn't have any extra connectors or an MPPT controller. MPPT controllers can cost upwards of $100. I find the Big Blue Solar 120W pack to be good value for money. Be aware of the potential disadvantages associated with array construction. 1, it is too big and heavy for hiking. 2, the stand supports that keep the array facing the sun are weak. 3, The 12V output of the MPPT controller provides 60W power, not the maximum 120W. 4, Instructions and the Big Blue website do not provide any further details. Given these potential downsides, this solar panel meets my needs and is good value for the money.
