I really wanted this board to be liked and I hoped other people commenting on the battery death got nothing but lemons. But since it is for my son. I wanted to check the battery to make sure it was working. After the first full charge of both the remote control and the board. I turned on the board and synced the controller. To my delight, the wheels spun fairly quickly, and it quickly turned into a rage as the battery died and refused to turn on. Unlike others, my board doesn't even turn on when plugged in. I'm awaiting a replacement from Revain and hope I just got the lemon (will continue as soon as I get it). I'm so glad I tested the board before giving it to my son for Christmas. He would be devastated!
