The old console is shown on the left. The new universal remote control is shown on the right. The original remote that came with my TV is weak and had to be reset several times when it stopped working. I could make it work again and again, but what a pain! I missed some cliffhangers. This replacement remote control is durable, has the best layout, and requires no programming or setup. Just insert batteries and everything works! It's good value for money and it arrived the next day. If you need to cold start the remote control, remove the batteries, wait 30 seconds, and then press each button in turn. Insert batteries and try. This may work again for a while. I had this for two weeks then had to reset it. And then again. Just buy a remote control!
