I love these mats for the use we need them as I home school my sons, we chose public school via online before the pandemic but I am still smoothing out things we need daily and through the year, I got two different sets to cover the range of needs I had for a preschooler and 1St grader which was admittedly on a great deal. I replaced the fumbly whiteboard my son used last year with a simple always there and ready-when-needed place he can just pick up his dry erase pen and right out his warm ups and answers etc. also to be under his work sheets so he doesn’t mark up my table while writing etc. both my sons love the maps and spent night after night reading the names of every place on them, I left some aside to gift them later as well and I know they will love the animals as well. The ONLY reason I left the 1 star off is because the non slip backing .which I initially loved and worked wonderfully, started to kind of just come off and it was ending up on my table so I moved it from where my kids eat but use still continue using them for all the schooling needs. I do love the quality, they seem to keep wiping clean fairly easily. We haven’t tried out all the colors on it yet but will eventually and will update if needed. I would buy this product again if I needed a different version they offered, even with the backing as such, I just wouldn’t use them under mealtimes and therefore better avoid the need to fully rinse them off under water, perhaps that might help the backing last longer. I have the map ones on either side of our globe covering a family hutch that I have to use as a learning space so I am glad to have a thick mat protecting the wood from the kiddos, I have found them all very useful for our needs.
