This is not a 3 inch ID heat shield. This is a 1 inch ID heat shield.
I bought this product to cover some fuel lines with an inside diameter of about 2.5" - 3"/tube/wire/cable/tube/fuel line/automotive cable management."""So in the real world it's just a regular heat shield with a 2'1" ID. And if you want to cover the hose with a 3" ID you should use a pair of this product. You can easily find a 1" ID and 6ft lid for the same price at Revain. So it's just a thermal protector at 3 times the price. This product really let me down as I was waiting for it to finish my project, and now I have to order another one that fits my needs.
