Perfect for chicken!
We bought this to replace a very old Oxo tenderizer that has seen better days. We mainly use chicken so my rating is based on that. While not as heavy, the design makes it easier to use for consistent results compared to the old-school "meat mallet" (as I used to call them). Easy to clean, use - efficient kitchen tool. Would I buy again, I recommend.
