Hole saws work well. I like the quick release adapter but I don't like that it's welded on. I can't just take another hole saw and use the existing adapter. Also, I can't use hole saws on special mandrels or any other mandrel for that matter. The mandrel is 3/8" and I found an extension that snaps onto it, but the other end is straight so you can't fold the extensions. A larger 7/16" mandrel would be better. The quick change shaft is larger than most holes I've drilled so drilling through the wall and up the other side isn't an option.
