I used this shell to repair a 2004 Honda Accord key. It worked great. Remember that you need to be careful when removing the transponder chip from the old key. First, use a tiny flat head screwdriver to pry the small connector out of the slot in the key. There are small cutouts on the sides of the small box where the chip is located to make it easier. Then I had to very carefully cut off the excess plastic around the transponder in the old key and in the end I was able to remove it with needle nose pliers. Then I put some double sided tape on the chip and put it in the new case with the old button module. Went like clockwork. This key case is not as sleek as the original case but is of good quality and looks solid. The case has small grooves for gripping.
