Review on 🎥 Amcrest AWC201-B 1080P Webcam: High Definition Streaming with Privacy Cover, Microphone, Wide Angle Lens, and Large Sensor for PC Desktop and Laptop by Terry Murphy

Hi guys, I got this camera a week ago as my old laptop's internal camera was about 0.3 megapixels and the video captured was just awful. So I decided to come here and buy a good camera for a good price. I have reviewed various and read a number of reviews of Logitech cameras as well as Microsoft cameras. Reviews different, good and bad. And after doing a lot of browsing on Amazon, I saw this Amcrest camera. I didn't even know Amcrest made webcams. I'm quite familiar with Amrest products as I have a whole NVR surveillance system with 4k cameras throughout the house as well as a doorbell camera. I really like the quality of this company's products. They make very reliable and high quality products. So I decided to try it because the price is affordable, lower than Logitech and Microsoft cameras. And guess what? Got it, hooked it up to my desktop (just above the monitor), good thing it's out of the box for Windows 10 and I was surprised at the picture quality. It's amazing! i really like it So clean and clear. I use this webcam daily for my work (remotely now lol). It works with every app I've tried, Webex, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, GoToMeeting, you name it, it works flawlessly with all apps. Everyone on the other end of the line noticed immediately that the quality of my video calls had improved significantly. It also has a built-in microphone so you don't have to worry about buying an extra one. The USB cable from the camera is quite long. This helped me a lot since my desktop computer case is on the floor next to my desk. The camera has a well-constructed mount, so you can attach it to almost any monitor, but even if you don't, it comes with a mini tripod that attaches to the camera mount. Oh, one more very important future: the camera has a mechanical privacy shutter that you can close when the camera is not in use. Overall excellent value for money. Totally recommended if you have daily video calls, meetings or just web chatting.
