Review on URO Parts 12611710509 Oil Pressure Sensor Switch by David Dortch

Perfect replacement for the OEM oil pressure sensor in my 2003 BMW 745i! Unfortunately I recently discovered an oil leak around the vacuum pump so I decided to take the pump out and replace the seals (common symptom/problem on this particular model). Being in the area I decided to swap the nearby oil pressure sensor as well as that can often be a problem too (leak) - plus it's only a few euros so why not? The only warning I'll give is: the socket you need for this replacement is a 22mm deep recessed socket, but as I found out the OEM switch I pulled out requires a 24mm deep recessed socket. I'm not sure what size your current derailleur might be, but if you can't get the old one out at 22mm, try the 24mm. To be honest I wish I had known this before clearing it up, could have saved me an extra trip to Pep Boys.
