These small discs work very well. I trimmed mine a bit to match the dark pattern in the center of the small plate. (Of course, if your record is visible through and through, the disc will be visible) The instructions say to wet your fingers and rub the back of the disc, then wait 3-7 minutes for the glue to set. Mine was very sticky for a few minutes and stuck perfectly to the back of the panel. You will then be asked to wait 24 hours before hanging up. The next day the entire surface of the pane was perfectly bonded. I have no doubts that he will fail. I hung my plate and it looks great. Water is again used to remove the disc, which loosens the adhesive without damaging the disc. I would recommend these discs.
