Someone on my cook page recently sent in a photo of a very badly burned enameled cast iron pan and asked if anyone had any cleaning suggestions. Many people suggested just throwing it away because it can't be cleaned, but two people recommended Caspian stone sponges. She used it and showed the frying pan to shine. I was so impressed that I decided I needed them. I can't tell you how incredibly good they are at handling the burnt dirt and oil on cookware I've had for several years. There are a few other things in my house that need a good cleaning and this product takes care of that. I highly recommend these sponges.
