I'm a die-hard old car washer. I grew up with a suede dryer and that's about all I've ever used. After my last piece of fabric was pretty worn out, I did some research and came across this towel. I'm glad I did. Let's face it - it's easy, follow the instructions and you can't go wrong. I keep it in a case after wringing it out. It will smell a little when you use it for the first time or second time. But it absorbs just as well as suede and I expect it to last longer given the thickness. I've used mine over a dozen times and am happy with it. Some of the reviews here would have you believe it has enough absorbency to wipe down an entire car without wringing it out. Incorrect. I don't know of anything this would do unless you already let the car dry in the sun. In any case, it's a good buy as it replaces the drying method I've been using for a long time.
