better than Shami

I decided to try one of these to wipe down my bike after a wash. The BMW RT has a lot of plastic that needs to be kept clean and protected from water stains. This product can wipe down the entire bike and doesn't need to be wrung out until I'm ready to put it back in the bin. Bought a second one for bike storage. But the tube they come in, while absorbing moisture well, takes up too much room in the basket, so the newest one was folded up and placed in a large plastic bag that slips behind the…

Pros
  • Dries everything faster and easier
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

This is our second absorber purchase in three years.

We bought our first absorber almost 3 years ago: We use it to wipe the shower after each use - almost every day! - to avoid the accumulation of mold and soap residue on the walls of the shower. Thus, the previous absorber lasted almost 3 years with daily use. Not too shabby. We don't wash in the laundry; If the absorber stinks a little, we soak it in a white vinegar bath and then just rinse it off and hang it over the shower door for the next use. The first one was a bit torn around the edges…

Pros
  • Machine wash
Cons
  • So so

That's a great chamois! Thank you CleanTools!

It's hard to believe I have one (absorber) like this that I bought 15-20 years ago (same size, colour, etc.). When I was looking for a second "absorber" the other day I came across it at Revain and as far as I could tell it turned out to be the same as my old "absorber". When I got the new one the only difference I noticed was a slight change in the label aside from being the exact same GREAT suede I've been using for years. Thank you CleanTools for not changing a great product - you clearly…

Pros
  • PRACTICAL. Comes with the perfect tube for use at home or on the go
Cons
  • A few little things

I took the risk and I'm glad I did.

I'm a die-hard old car washer. I grew up with a suede dryer and that's about all I've ever used. After my last piece of fabric was pretty worn out, I did some research and came across this towel. I'm glad I did. Let's face it - it's easy, follow the instructions and you can't go wrong. I keep it in a case after wringing it out. It will smell a little when you use it for the first time or second time. But it absorbs just as well as suede and I expect it to last longer given the thickness. I've…

Pros
  • Great as a towel
Cons
  • Annoying

The best way to dry your car. Please read below.

I have been using this brand of car dryer for 20 years. I have read many negative reviews about this shampoo and I have to say that most of the people who leave a one star review have no idea what they are talking about, don't understand the product, don't know how to use it and honestly I don't think they even know what it's used for. Few things to know Keep a plastic container. In it you store pressed, damp Shammi.2. It dries to a hardboard, if you let it dry just dip it in a bucket of water…

Pros
  • MACHINE WASH. Wash the absorber and use again for years to come
Cons
  • Nothing

A lazy woman's way of keeping the bathroom shower clean

I hate cleaning the bathroom, especially the bathtub and shower. Unfortunately, we have hard water, and you all know that hard water and soap scum create unpleasant limescale. That used to mean weekly brushing and dry cleaning and lots of grumbling. (hate hate hate this!) Solution? Squeegee and cloth The absorber. After each shower we (had to practice a bit to get others to clean up) shovel the shower away and then wipe it down with a rag. It takes a maximum of five minutes to dry the shower…

Pros
  • Hundreds of uses to dry
Cons
  • Long waits
