Installing a closed trailer is simple and easy

It works very well. I installed it in my enclosed trailer so I could plug an extension cord into the charger inside the trailer and close and lock the doors. The wall thickness of the trailer is less than the depth of the connector plug. Here's an installation tip if you're doing something like this: Drill a small index hole in the trailer where you want the connector plug. Now locate this small hole on the outside and use a hole saw to drill a 1 3/4 inch diameter hole for the connector, BUT NOT THROUGHOUT THE PLYWOOD WALL. The rubber boot on the back of the connector plug adds 1/4" to the overall diameter, so use a 2" hole saw on the inside wall. If you drill through both the outer skin and inner plywood with a 1 3/4 inch hole saw, it won't fit in the rubber boot. I also used some white silicone to seal it. See photo.
