Instructions not to scale

Installation instructions were originally printed on 8 1/2 x 11 paper and have been changed to the smaller sheet of paper that came with the end cap. Unfortunately I used the cutting template from the instructions to cut out the hole for the van. It was too little. Cutting a larger hole after the original is much more difficult. Be sure to use the size given in the instructions and not the template. Also, there are only two screw holes and two screws. Four holes and screws ensure a more solid…

Good product, quick and easy to install

I ordered it based on the many positive reviews I saw. This is a quick and easy way to power my generator to my trailer. I didn't want to make a big hole in the side of my trailer. So I used a piece of wood as a spacer between the bottom of the trailer and the connector. Then all I had to do was make a small hole just big enough to put the cable through. Then use silicone around the hole. That way I had a small hole in the bottom that could be easily covered if I had to remove the plug, rather…

Excellent product best in Plugs

Replace the one supplied by the dealer. The type where the end of the charging connector is pinched so I lost about 3/16" on the prongs of the connector that goes through the base, then the end of the extension has about 3/16" rubber on the end I lost right on 3/8" of the connection on 3/4" cable prongs. I've gone on several trips only to find that the batteries weren't charged. This was installed in an existing borehole by means of an additional borehole. The screw pattern didn't match the old

Good product! for electrical appliances

Great product that has made my life as an angler so much easier. I have lots of batteries and four on-board chargers on my boat (only electric motors are allowed in my state), so there are cords everywhere. . Now I just plug my extension cord into this port, which saves me a lot of time, space and frustration. Be sure to mount it ABOVE the waterline if you plan to do this with your boat. While this seal appears to be waterproof, I wouldn't want to test it! It's worth noting that it only comes…

Installing a closed trailer is simple and easy

It works very well. I installed it in my enclosed trailer so I could plug an extension cord into the charger inside the trailer and close and lock the doors. The wall thickness of the trailer is less than the depth of the connector plug. Here's an installation tip if you're doing something like this: Drill a small index hole in the trailer where you want the connector plug. Now locate this small hole on the outside and use a hole saw to drill a 1 3/4 inch diameter hole for the connector, BUT…
