The type where the end of the charging connector is pinched so I lost about 3/16" on the prongs of the connector that goes through the base, then the end of the extension has about 3/16" rubber on the end I lost right on 3/8" of the connection on 3/4" cable prongs. It works very well. I installed it in my enclosed trailer so I could plug an extension cord into the charger inside the trailer and close and lock the doors. The wall thickness of the trailer is less than the depth of the connector plug.
