Replace the one supplied by the dealer. The type where the end of the charging connector is pinched so I lost about 3/16" on the prongs of the connector that goes through the base, then the end of the extension has about 3/16" rubber on the end I lost right on 3/8" of the connection on 3/4" cable prongs. I've gone on several trips only to find that the batteries weren't charged. This was installed in an existing borehole by means of an additional borehole. The screw pattern didn't match the old one, but it's a VERY small price to pay to make sure my batteries are charged. The cable on this one is very generous, making it easy to route the cable path.
