Review on πŸŒ€ Vornado PivotC Clip On Fan with Multi-Surface Mount, Black - Personal Air Circulator by Sara Reyes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Beautiful but loud fan

Design - 5/5Construction - 5/5Airflow - 3/5Noise - 2/5DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION (5/5 years) Design. Very small footprint. Metal base with transparent rubber stops to prevent the device from sliding or rattling on surfaces such as glass. The case is made of very hard plastic and is attached to the metal base with the same plastic. It would have been hard to snap a picture of it, let alone the fact that it happened by accident. AIRFLOW AND NOISE (3/5) I have one of the Zippis and I was expecting a little more airflow from this model. While it (barely) outperforms the Zippi on the highest setting. -- The low setting seems to move almost no air - I can barely feel the wind hitting my face from 12 inches from my desk. I couldn't imagine this setting being useful if it hits 90 degrees after a month or so. However, at this noise level, there is very little noise. The medium setting pushes out about 33% more air and is definitely louder or as loud as Zippi's high setting. The high setting is incredibly loud for a ***desk fan**. * and it doesn't seem to move much more air than medium settings (maybe 40-45% more than low settings). high in chat. I would be surprised if medium settings worked. I tend to rely on my pedestal fan in this scenario. Good enough for headphone encoding I think. CONCLUSION (4/5) Overall it works, the build feels very solid and it's only $20 (at the time of purchase). but it's still a little disappointing when you hear how this thing works.
