The good news is that these wire brushes will not wear out. The bad news is that the will not wear out because the wire bristles will separate from the base long before they have a chance to wear. Even at half-speed on my Dremel tool the wire bristles start to fly off after the first minute of use. I was using these to remove corrosion build-up on an aluminum bearing carrier for my ATV and they were not strong enough even for that simple task. This set was cheaply priced and I got what I paid for. Caveat emptor.
