Great minimalist running belt for phone plus water - not much else

This is a good belt. For me, the belt size is *WAY* too big at it's biggest size. I can size it down, but it means I have extra hanging out. My wife said she would cut the straps down and finish the ends again. She also added some elastic strings to the front to attach an athlete number for racing. It might be nice if they did this at the factory as they could more easily make the stitching more durable for them. The belt is a reasonable weight, the inside material is webbed with foam allowing it to breathe. If you go on a long run, be sure to use body glide or similar products to protect against chafing. The bottles are a nice size (about 6 oz) as any place I am likely to go, there will be water before I run out. The pouch is small for the newer phablet phones. I got a Moto G Play with a Cimo slim fit case, which fits inside perfectly. When I ran with my Galaxy Note 4 with Samsung protective case, it was just big enough to fit, but ended up tearing the stitching inside as the lining material is less stretchy than the outer material. The front has a hole for a headphone jack, which I have yet to use.

Pros
  • Durable construction for outdoor activities
Cons
  • The belt may rub or irritate the skin during activity
