The colors are vibrant and endless shades can be achieved by mixing different colors. I'm not sure what transparency means - I thought it was a term to describe fabrics. If it has a positive connotation when describing mica pigments, then this material has incredible transparency. I am working on restoring a chair that will use this indigo pigment. Attached is a photo of a blue and silver rocking chair I just completed. The blue chair is a mica pigment mixed with polyurethane, brushed and then polished. Spraying and then "burying" layers of pigment into the final clear coat is better and requires less work.
