Review on 🍎 Starfrit 93013 Pro-Apple Peeler with Additional Core Slicer by Stephanie Lopez

First I bought a steel one. Although very strong and hard, I didn't like the "steel loop" cutting the fruit. He digs too much and removes too much flesh for my liking. Also, the core never worked for me, mainly because apples are rarely perfectly symmetrical, so it just never worked. I returned this one and bought this one which is more of the "cleaner" I'm used to. It's all plastic so not that "hard" but it's holding up pretty well! It adheres perfectly to the granite counter and comes off very easily. Cleans perfectly, the meat stays much longer! A little is left at the top, and you need to clean the bottom with a knife. This is normal as I slice the apple after peeling it. I used the included slicer and it works great too. But again, most apples aren't symmetrical, so the slicer sometimes misses the target with the core. It will be easier if I just cut them with a knife so I can remove the bruises, the tops and bottoms and cut the kids into thinner slices. Overall, this food slicer saves me several minutes of cleaning! It's so fast, cut an apple in just 5 seconds! I simply rinse the plane after use and let it dry. Very little water gets into the plastic when rinsing (I don't submerge it) and it dries quickly, I give it a good shake when it's in. I never see water in it next time I use it. Love it!
