Review on Mettler Metrosene 100% Core Spun Polyester Thread in Olive Drab - 165 yd, High-Quality Sewing Thread by Angela Rodriguez

This thread color is not olive gray. Not even close. It's also a sad amount of yarn for the price, obviously I knew that when I bought it but was hoping it would go better with my 1967 really olive cotton fabric (see photos) as I have a thin olive thread needed -grey color. The photos show a comparison between Mettler Metrosene (orange spool) and Gutermann 774 (white spool). Both strands are 100% 50 gauge polyester. As you can see in the first two photos, Mettler is significantly lighter than Gutermann. The Gutermann "good" matches the olive green webbing, but is still very noticeable. In the last two pictures both threads are contrasted with heavy Tex 135 and 350 nylon thread which is obviously the correct olive color.
