Good generic blanket but I should have been less optimistic about its performance. I took it to my country house because we needed to do some winterizing and I knew it was going to be cold this week. We arrived late afternoon and soon found the stove wasn't working so I thought great, we have a heater AND a new electric blanket for the night: we'll fix the stove tomorrow. I turned down the covers and threw them on the bed: my partner's side worked, but mine didn't. Brilliant. So I packed it in a box, pulled out a blanket, turned on the heat, and closed the room for the night. Brrr. And one more thing: when returning, unlike Revain, the manufacturer has to confirm receipt, so I'm still waiting for a refund. This is the first time I've had to wait for a refund on an essential item, so be careful.
