Review on Yama Glass Stainless Steel Kettle by Marvin Perry

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great little pouring pot

Great for pouring over coffee. I fill it about half full to make a cup. If you enjoy boiling two cups at a time, you might need something bigger. The bare metal handle does not or hardly gets hot as long as you hold it over the edge of the electric stove top and until you remove it from the heat as soon as it boils. I don't know how it is with a gas burner. I boil water in this kettle without the lid so I didn't have this issue with the other reviewer. The quality seems really good. I like it more than other kettles because it's basically a single piece of steel and doesn't have a separate base. A bit pricey but I think it's worth it if you can get it for a reasonable price.

Pros
  • Special handle that reduces heat transfer from boiling water and provides a safe contact point with a cool feel
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
