About a year ago I bought a used car with 4 new hubcaps. One was lost shortly after purchase so I'm ordering 4 more. Sometimes another got lost and I've replaced it. I ended up running out of spares and I went with 3 hubcaps, then 2, then just 1. And lest you doubt my hubcap skills, last winter I mounted 2 winter tires and then 4 all-season tires on this. Summer so at least 6 hubcaps were "expertly" fitted and fell off like the rest. After scattering 7 of these plastic washers across the otherwise pristine Minnesota landscape, I'm thinking I'll try a different brand for my next set, maybe something with an inner ring of wire that curves around the valve stem.
