The rubber ring does not hold the lid handle. Without them, the lid is too hot to lift.

Instead of a handle made of high-temperature plastic that does not heat up, a rubber ring is put on a metal handle, but it keeps coming loose. Without them, the handle will get too hot to lift the lid. Very bad design.
