I have had a parasitic discharge in my car battery for at least 4 years. I figured it was my battery behaving and I would replace it at least 5 times under warranty for free. If my 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix had not been used for more than three days, the battery would have died. Also, at times, the brake light appeared on the dashboard along with the ABS indicator. I knew the brakes were ok because I had just changed the pads etc. I've read about bad diodes drawing current from the battery when they shouldn't, or something like that. So I thought maybe something like this would happen to my car. I decided to pull the fuses and run the car for a few nights starting with the brake relay as the brake light on the dash came on. The car sat for three days and after installing this new relay it started immediately with no brake lights on. I drove the car about 15 miles to make sure it doesn't resurface and everything is fine. So I hope this can help someone else. Many Thanks
