Review on ๐ŸŒก๏ธ Wireless Temperature Sensor with LCD by La Crosse Technology: TX27U-IT 915 MHz for Accurate Monitoring by Ashley Stolen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great with some La Crosse 915MHz weather instruments

This La Crosse Technology TX27U-IT 915MHz wireless temperature sensor with LCD is the same TX27U-IT model that comes standard and works with an outdoor transmitter for the La Crosse Technology Wireless Thermometer WS-9121U-IT-CBP, which accepts a total of three sensors/transducers - two in addition to the standard sensor that comes with the wireless thermometer. When you have this special wireless La Crosse thermometer, it's a great way to monitor the temperature in a child's room, greenhouse, basement or anywhere else. The specifications state that the TX27U-IT sensor has a range of 100 m (330 feet). I tested mine at about 250 feet and installed it outside behind some foliage and part of a building about 175 feet away - it works fine. 330 feet should be considered "open air" with no obstacles and that such radio waves do not go around objects. The actual transmission range depends on how many obstacles (walls, floors, roofs, ceilings, foliage, etc.) are in the way and can halve the signal range. Also note that this is NOT a dual channel model. B. with humidity, precipitation, snow measurement, local insect count, political affiliation of passers-by or another combined function. He feels the temperature. and that's it and should only be used with other La Crosse 915 MHz meteorological instruments. If in doubt, visit the La Crosse website for more information or call customer service. La Crosse Technology's TX29U-IT 915MHz wireless temperature sensor is another model with a similar feature but lacks an LCD panel. La Crosse Technology's TX37U-IT 915MHz wireless temperature sensor is also similar, also lacking an LCD temperature readout, but is a weatherproof solution when a direct factor can play a role. Either way, this is a great solution if you're looking to expand the capabilities of the wireless thermometer mentioned above. and remember that a maximum of three remote sensors/transmitters can be used with this device!

Pros
