Review on 📷 Rokinon Cine DS24M-C 24mm T1.5 ED AS IF UMC Canon EF Full Frame Cine Wide Angle Lens by Frankye Sherman

Excellent lens. Too bad it wasn't the focal length I needed for my project. I had to return with some regret. I haven't used it much, but I was impressed with the build quality. Included was a nice suede drawstring bag. There were all caps and a hood. For the price, a better tote bag would be appropriate. The padded side pocket, while decent, isn't what you'd expect from a quality lens. You want it in a nice, sturdy, zippered bag or something. Otherwise I would like to use for this. I bought the whole set because of the quality of this device. They used to be considered a poor man's excuse for a film lens. But now I see them becoming a worthy tool for professionals who want to shoot with film fixes. After working with it, I found that it was actually ALSO built and sized like a Canon L-series lens, so basically a modified L-series prime with no stabilization. But the click-off membrane and the fixed sprockets are very good. I think it's pretty good to focus on that. It had enough spacing and edge-to-edge movement in my opinion to make it suitable for any good 1st AC. I tried marrying it to BMPCC but it just didn't look the way I wanted it to. Otherwise it would be the goalkeeper.
