Review on Unleash Your Photography Potential with Davis and Sanford Vista Trailblazer Monopod by Wade Brooks

Good value monopod

I use this monopod with a high end point and shoot with a superzoom camera. The monopod helps stabilize the camera at slow shutter speeds and/or when zooming in. The monopod features 3 fully adjustable, expandable sections made from durable metal and a hand strap attached at the top next to the foam handle. There is a sharp metal tip on the bottom that can be used outdoors to secure the monopod. An attached plastic shield screws on to surround the metal point when not in use. The product comes with a nice cloth bag big enough for a monopod. The bag includes an adjustable but short shoulder strap. When I'm shooting, I screw the camera directly onto the top of the monopod, leaving the housing behind. The foam grip provides an excellent grip when carrying the camera on a monopod. You can add a pan/tilt head to this monopod like most others. But it doesn't fit in the included pouch. The monopod is also a tolerable walking stick, but of course it has to be held at the side. And (although it's very durable) I certainly wouldn't use it as an accessory with my camera on it. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. It gets the job done for a very reasonable price.
