Bought to hold a sheet over a window as a cheap alternative to curtain rods. There is no connection at all to these. Even when I was fully supporting the weight of the panel, the corner still slipped out of the clamps. They have no aggressive gripping surface at all, no teeth. Sticking a chip clip to my wall would be orders of magnitude more effective. I doubt they can even hold a piece of paper because as I mentioned they don't have a grippy surface, just smooth plastic so whatever it's holding slips out. To hell with the weight tolerance. To be fair they hold up well and are actually spring clips and are just as easy to remove as anything else. The wall tries to force it instead of pulling the strip all the way.
