Not intended for small pet chewing.
First the pros. My rats liked it for 48 hours. It's very soft and easy to clean after it's lasted so long. Bright colors and 3 different levels for lots of hiding and sleeping places. The problem with this hammock is that the 4 angled hanging cables are not metal and while my rats enjoyed it for 2 days they chewed through the hanging supports overnight. If you have rats or other small animals that like to chew I wouldn't recommend this. If it had metal brackets to hang it would be much better for gnawing small pets.
