Review on Krinner Genie Christmas Stand Green by Justin Ferguson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A hassle-free way to work with a live tree.

Was it expensive compared to the rebar base that comes with the live tree? Em yes! But when they sawed the tree at a slight angle and it leaned noticeably, I realized we needed a real base. I had done enough homework to know what to buy and knew that walking across town looking for the right base would be a waste of time. I've seen enough fallen trees, broken and scattered decorations, and the stress and controversy that comes with trying to get it upright and stable again in my lifetime. Besides, how fun is it to keep recoloring the Christmas tree? This time I decided to cut it all short and order quickly while the tree waited outside for a few days for the Prime to arrive. It was easy to set up compared to those old memories. He handled our 8ft tree like a champ! No huffing and panting, no crawling under a tree on the ground, or hot jokes about it getting better. It only took a few minutes to do it safely and directly. I particularly liked the large water tank with a hinged water level indicator. The puppy could not drink from it, and the dense round shape did not allow accidentally tripping over straight legs. It's even easier to cut down a tree. In addition, it is easy to clean and store. Does anyone remember cast iron bases with screws? Or end it? Ouch! It costs money!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Wrinkled packaging
