This is a reliable product at a good price ($35). As another reviewer noted, it was difficult to route the speaker wire that was close to the wall plate. However, if you remove the green connector that contains the speaker wires, it's much easier (it just snaps into place). This allows you to connect the cable without holding the controller. I also recommend only using 16 gauge wire if you are only installing one pair of speakers. I installed 2 pairs of speakers and the 16 gauge wire was very tight when you twisted both wires together and tried to fit them into the terminal. When connecting more than one pair of speakers, use only 18 or 22 gauge wire, this makes setup a lot easier. The only problem I had was that the instructions don't say how to match the jumpers to the speaker's impedance. At the moment I have to crank my Onkyo receiver really loud to get a signal through the external speakers. That's the only reason it didn't get 5 stars.
